Shazia
Shazia graduated with a degree in psychology from Lahore, Pakistan, and has been a Canadian citizen for 24 years. She is a mom running a home daycare and has worked with Wee Watch for 11 years now. She is passionate about working with children and exploring arts, crafts, and creative activities.
Kavita
Early on Kavita developed an appreciation for education and nurturing growth, inspired by her grandmother who was a teacher & principal. Growing up, she helped raise her younger cousins, which strengthened her commitment to providing loving, structured care. Her hands-on experience includes teaching Sunday school and working at her neighbourhood church daycare. These experiences have shaped her belief in creating a safe, warm, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued, supported, and empowered to learn. I believe in play-based learning and strive to design activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
Barb
Barb has been with Wee Watch North York since 2006. The children in Barb's home engage in a stimulating program full of learning and creativity. Barb works with the children at their level and with encouragement lots of learning takes place. Parents have long appreciated her caring approach with many younger siblings joining the group.
