Universal Children’s day is celebrated globally every year on November 20th in recognition of the United Nations Declaration and convention on the Rights of the Child.
Universal Children’s Day is celebrated to promote togetherness, awareness and the welfare of children worldwide.
Each and every child is born with rights and no one should take them away from them. These rights include things like the need for food, clothing a safe place to live, education, health care, privacy, and they have the right to get help if they have been hurt, neglected or treated badly.
